Yesterday was a pretty big day in Texas history, but you probably didn’t realize it. On February 28, 1993 the ATF decided it would undertake a huge raid on the Branch Davidian compound, even though they could have picked up David Koresh on the side of the road any day of the week during his morning jog. So why the big production? Well, a year earlier the ATF got mud on their face with the Ruby Ridge affair, and they needed something to pump their image back up. It just made sense to go in big at Waco. The ATF will claim over and over that the Davidians fired first. Koresh, on video and bleeding on the floor in the compound claimed the ATF fired first, and that anyone could look at the front door and see that was true. Only thing is, that door mysteriously disappeared, so we’ll never REALLY know. But I’ve got my own opinions on that.
I just wanted you to know that yesterday marked the anniversary of the BEGINNING of the government’s mass murder of 80 some odd people, American people, and I hope you’ll watch “Waco: Rules of Engagement” on Google Video at this link: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4298137966377572665#
